Taracoonee is the holiday home of the Vicars family and their friends 

 Situated beside the Hawkesbury River, just north of Sydney,  the property is surrounded by bush and is only accessible by water.

Taracoonee is available for family and friends to rent throughout the year.

Important Notices

Taracoonee is now closed until the end of March 2026 for roof replacement works. 

Please check this website regularly for progress updates. 

Work to replace the roof (damaged by hail in late 2023) commenced in December 2025. 

We will continue to take bookings from the start of April 2026, however, bookings between April and August 2026 will be 'subject to confirmation nearer the time'. 

We will let you know via the website when the roof work is complete.

We look forward to welcoming you back to an improved and water-tight Taracoonee in 2026!
